Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year. We are pleased to announce that registration is now open. Classes are held every Sunday between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. at Lalumiere Language Hall of Marquette University. Language class is 2:00 – 4:00 pm and extra-curricular class is 4:00 – 5:00 pm. The first school day is 9/7/2025.

We offer the following seven extra-curricular classes this year.

3. 舞蹈 (5-7岁）- 教师 陈小雪、赵悦辰 （Dance I (5 – 7 years old) – taught by Grace Chen & Joy Zhao）
Grace Chen is with North Shore Dance Studio. She has 11 years of dancing experience and has been dancing since she was 4 years old. She has participated in various dance competitions across the United States, and won many awards. Specialized in dance styles: Jazz, Contemporary, Ballet, Tap, and Pointe. Grace loves dancing and teaching, and hopes that through encouraging her students, they can grow to love and feel the joy of dance.
赵悦辰-跳舞机构：Milwaukee Ballet School and Academy (MBSA). 有9年的芭蕾舞，5年的中国舞蹈和3年的爵士舞学习经验。多次在MBSA和中文学校的演出表演。擅长舞蹈种类：芭蕾舞，爵士舞，中国舞蹈. 赵悦辰喜欢音乐和舞蹈。她对小孩子们有耐心和爱心。她希望帮助小朋友们接触到不同的舞蹈形式，分享她对舞蹈的热爱。
Joy Zhao Has 9 years of ballet experience, 5years of Chinese dance experience, and 3 years of jazz experience. She has performed multiple times at MBSA and Chinese dance showcases. Specialized in dance styles: Ballet, Pointe, and jazz. She loves music and dance, and has since she was very young. She has lots of patience for and loves to teach students. She hopes to use her experience to help students explore different kinds of dance, and to share her love with everyone.
4. 舞蹈 II（8-12岁）- 教师 李娜 （Dance II (8 – 12 years old) – taught by Na Li）
Na Li graduated from Bei Jing’s Dancing College. Specializes in teaching Chinese ethnic folk dance, Chinese classical dance, ballet training class, and soft opening basic skills. Has been educating children and teenagers dance, and adult dance training for ten years. Former Chinese dance teacher of Xi’an Flamingo Art Training School and dancer of Xi’an Song and Dance Troupe, representative work “Qin”. Has plentiful experience in choreography and teaching.
5. 基础艺术（绘画和色彩, 面向所有年龄段）（Basic Art (Drawing and color) – taught by Rita Jennings)
Rita Jennings is a recent Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design who specializes in color theory. This explores basic techniques of drawing and color theory using colored pencils with the aid of crafting materials. After this course, students will begin to understand the basics of color theory, shape language, and expressive art making through various projects.
Students are required to have a spiral bound sketchbook, 24 count colored pencils, No. 2 pencils, optional ruler, 2 glue sticks, and a pair of age appropriate scissors.
6. 艺术探索 （ Art Exploration – taught by Anna Mikula）
Anna Mikula graduated from Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design in 2022. This class is meant for children 8 years and older to explore art using different mediums, techniques & learning about different artists along the way. Both children with & without art experience can enjoy artmaking & learn something new along the way.

8. 化妆必备 – 教师 刘安静 （Makeup Essentials: Beauty from Scratch —Taught by Anjing Liu）
The tuition for the whole school year (32 school weeks) is as below:

岁岁如约，年年不负！由密尔沃基华人社区中心（MCCC）主办， 美华协会（OCA）、亚美专业协会（NAAAP）及威州华人商会（WCCC）协办的年度龙舟节，是密尔沃基地区夏天最隆重的亚洲文化节。历经夏雨荡涤，今年7月12日星期六清风碧水的密歇根湖畔公园（Lakeshore State Park）迎来了第十一届密尔沃基龙舟节，众多龙舟队伍和观众共襄盛举。
龙舟竞渡是龙舟节上当之无愧的主角与最大亮点，每年都吸引着密尔沃基各大公司与企业参赛。今年报名参赛的共有46支队伍，其中密尔沃基的Rockwell 一如既往派出了6支队伍，不少大公司都选派多支队伍参赛，受欢迎程度可见一斑。每支队伍大约由25人组成，包括20名船上队员和一名鼓手，要求其中至少有8名女性。MCCC今年派出了两支队伍，分别是旗下的英才学院（YLA）和蟋蟀中文学堂（Cricket Chinese Academy）。YLA是赛场上最年轻的队伍，参赛者全部都是当地的高中生。

Volunteers to park along E. Erie street up until Park South entrance for free, please mention the sub team you belong to， your team leader’s name and your name at the gate. First come first serve.

This year, 642 E Erie St Parking will be available again for Dragon Boat Festival parking. We only have north entrance open for parking.
Set “Milwaukee Sail Loft” (649 E Erie St, Milwaukee, WI 53202) as your GPS destination, once you see Milwaukee Sail Loft, turn left at the end of the road. Continue to drive on the road along the river toward the red light house; you are now in Lakeshore State Park. Follow the road under the Horn Bridge, and continue until the road swings to the left (north).
Park anywhere along the road where not prohibited. The south pedestrian entrance to the “island” portion of Lakeshore is located on the northeast portion of the large turn-around at the end of the road – no vehicles are allowed after this point.

每年一次的大学申请讲座广受家长与学生的高度关注。5月18日下午2:00，上百名学生与家长来到中文学校的176教室，聆听这届毕业生的分享。这次受邀的应届毕业生代表分别是来自Homestead High School 的Amy Hu, Kevin Wan；Brookfield East High School 的Noah Ren; Whitnall High school 的Kosta Volakis 和 Whitefish Bay High School 的William Wang。讲座由2025-2026届YLA学生领袖Ethan Zhang，Brandon Liao, Lucy Wu 和Sylvia Li共同主持。讲座采取由主持人提问，毕业生代表轮流作答的形式进行。
