Speedskating, a sport of going the fastest on razor-thin blades around either a 111-meter track or a 400-meter oval. As one of the most fascinating of the winter Olympic sports, it has produced 88 gold medals for Team USA over the years. With a rich Olympic legacy of this sport in the midwest, and especially in the Pettit National Ice Center, the very first and only school district Elmbrook Speedskating club and founded purely by the students invite you to join and try out this amazing sport.
