|Titleist have launched the new 714 series of CB and MB Irons. They offer high performance and maximu shot control. They are tour proven forged blade with improved address profiles and enhanced feel through the turf. The Cavityback irons are clubs for low-handicappers with a shallow cavity. cheap golf clubs Titleist says it hasn't made a lot of changes relative to the previous generation CB set, but the changes the designers did make revolve around turf interaction and the clubs' address profile.
The 714 CB heads are the same size as their predecessor's, the 712 CB, and they come with the same lofts. The new CB irons feature an optimised shallow cavity-back design with an inner cavity muscle behind the impact area for solid blade iron feel. The CB irons are smaller and more workable than the AP2s. Minimal changes to this iron include a smoother sole width progression through the set (the sole width of every iron is different), Titleist AP1 712 Irons and a slightly straighter leading edge for better turf interaction. The slightly wider CB sole now features increased front-to-back camber for better turf release and playability from a variety of attack angles. The soles of the 714 CB irons are slightly wider than those on the 714 MBs, which allows for more front-to-back camber in the CBs (improving playability from varying attack angles and turf conditions).
McGinley(Vice president of that company) says that for golfers who play professionally and those who contend for club championships, distance is not the main concern. So it's not the top priority for the 714 CB.
"For those guys, they still place a high value on workability and shot control," he said. "This is what they want."
The short irons in particular now feel superb and are one of the best performing irons i have tested for turf interaction this year. Titleist also designed the transitional portion of the heel area where the leading edge blends into the hosel (known as the par area) to be smoother and straighter so the hosel appears to flow more directly into the head. Titleist 913 D2 Driver for sale Titleist subtly updated the cosmetics of the 714 CB by using both shiny chrome and brushed chrome. The looks are very clean and understated so they do not appear vastly different from the 712 model, but certainly the performance is better thanks to the sole changes.
The feel was firmer than I was expecting, a solid hit but with minimal vibration. With the club coming out of the turf quickly it certainly felt like I was hitiing the ball powerfully. cheap Titleist 913 D3 Driver Better players who demand feel and precision may like these clubs, but McGinley acknowledges that they are not for everyone.
All in all, the new titleist CB 714 Irons is a better choice for better players. Hope you enjoy these items.
